how will your class be different than the last time you taught it?

what changes are you making in your teaching?

what was the impetus for those changes?

I am exploring students building content around heavy technical understandings of the reading process using various technologies and with new texts. I am also going to be more purposeful about BYOD opportunities in terms of technology integration. I’ve had the opportunity to have a 1:1 iPad environment in one of my courses for two semesters and it really changed the way I think about teaching and learning. I am not teaching that course this semester, but want to utilize and leverage the technologies students bring to class with them for deeper learning. Having to learn how to teach in a more varied environment than when all students have the same device is more challenging. Looking forward to the challenges and opportunities. Considering an auto-ethnographic study on this experience – learning about that methodology from Jenn Sanders.
